Lol, I'm doing it now. I really should get to bed soon, I have a recording session tomorrow.

Mainly the reason I stay up until the wee hours in the morning is because I feel the overpowering urge to do some editing to my songs, even though I could always do it the next day.

I haven't slept for 2 days now, so I'm gonna end this here and hopefully make it to my bedroom before I pass out, lol.

How ya doing, buddy?

I stay up late every night, and sleep well into the next afternoon. This is my normal sleeping pattern.

I stay up usually up to 2AM. Because by that time I realize I'm not doing anything but sit down infront of my PC and listen to music. So I go to sleep. I should try and do something more productive.

You just need a writing utenstil and something to write on and you're generally good to go. You got this awesome mutant power to combine pencil and paper and get boobs. You should use it.

I stay up late durring the summer a lot, I guess because If i wake up early there is nothing to do until 6. That's when me and my friends usually play basketball every day.

Usually, when its not mid-summer and I am running all over New England, I'll stay up super late to browse the internet or watch a shitty TV show when its not even intensely interesting. I will even deny my own fatigue just to stay up.

Lately though, I am rarely even at home. I crash almost every time I can.

If I stay up until three-thirty (which is usually the latest in a given week) it's either because I'm watching something on TV (like GSN early on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) or because I've become wrapped up in something I'm reading.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

After middle-school I have never gone to bed before 12:00, and the thing was, it was never because of work. I would always stay up doing the most random things, like watching a movie, playing a game, or just browsing the internet with no real reason.

Fortunatly, most of my teachers didn't care that I slept through their classes, so I always ended up well rested for the rest of the day. Unfortunatly, my high school days are over now, and I have the feeling that sleeping through my lectures is probably a very bad idea.

I've picked up a bad habbit of sleeping through some lectures. There's always at least 1 per semester I can rarely keep my eyes open for, and I feel pretty terrible for it. Especially if it's not a large lecture hall. And I'm sure it's a direct result of my sleeping habbits. The time I go to bed seems to get pushed off further all the time. First midnight, then 1AM, then 2AM, and now for the summer, 3AM is the norm. Awful

And yes, I usually don't have a good reason for it either. Or should I say, a justifiable reason.

I often stay up later than I want to, just because I don't get tired around the time I should be going to bed and I end up not noticing what time it is. ^_^

...then I'll sleep until 1:00 PM if I don't have to work in the morning...

Oh how I wish I didn't need to sleep - so much could be accomplished in that extra time! I could level up my force in PSO so she could play on ultimate difficulty in like two days! ^_^

3AM is my usual bedtime, but if I'm really wrapped up in stuff, I can push it to 5AM without even trying. What sort of stuff keeps me up? Playing games, watching movies, trying to decide on a game to play or film to watch, browsing online and downloading stuff, re-reading VG magazines from the mid-90s, randomly organizing things on my computer...things like that.
I'm a compulsive time-waster, particularly at night, and always hate myself in retrospect since while I'm at work I'm thinking, "I should've done this; why didn't I do that; next time I'll get to that other thing..."
Don't really know what to do about it, actually.

I do this every damn night.

I've been trying to fix my sleeping schedule so that I go to bed reasonably early (that is, midnight) because I'm beginning to hate trying to sleep as the sun is coming out. Usually, I go to bed around three to five in the morning.

I hate going to bed as much as getting out of it, it seems. =/

i used to get myself in trouble when i worked mornings at target...it would get very close to my start time and i wouldn't be sleeping, mostly because of fantasy baseball and not doing it during the day.

otherwise recently i'd get up at 5 to run, and still stay up although i did that and went to work for 8 hours after the run...

I seem to be doing this right now... lol...

I totally get you on that.. I seem to do that because sometimes I like to think about the next day.. what's ahead, what to plan for.. also I like to think of future ambitions.. But of course, I can't do this whlile just laying down in bed..

I'm a huge music lover, so... Usually I'll have a track playing.. and while it's on.. My mind just wont want to go to sleep.. I have to literally turn off the music, off the TV, off the lights downstairs...

Then I have to make sure i have all the things for the next day all set, like clothes I'm going to wear, what kind of breakfast I am going to eat, any reports I need to take to the office, what tracks I want on my MP3 player..

Then I have to take a shower, or I have to do it in the morning... so that's time too..

I think the most hardest part is actually picking out my clothes if I miss it the night before.. because my mind is off in the morning, I can't really think of what is 'appropriate' for the office.. so I gotta make sure to do it the night before...

Also.. I always have to check any messages in my e-mail, my myspace, and check my favorite music sites out....

That's my routine before sleep.. Kind of long..

Every night.

Normally I stay up working on a project or something, nothing I get paid for, just work I do on design or finishing up an art piece. I'd do that and sleep into the afternoon.

Lately though I've been troubled with happenings in my life and I just can't sleep. Last night I laid in my bed for about 4 hours before my mom got up, then I wandered around for about an hour, laid down again, and I really didn't sleep until around 10am.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Some nights I stay up until around 3AM, other nights I'm in bed before midnight. I've recently lost my job, so getting up early in the morning isn't a must for me anymore.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
