There's nowhere I can't reach. |
1. Name five RPGs with female protagonists.
2. Name three RPGs in which five characters can be controlled in battle. (As in, five is the limit. RPGs that allow more than five will not be counted. :P) This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Legend of Mana (If you chose the girl) Seiken Densetsu 3 (If you chose Carlie, Lise, or Angela as your main character.) Pokemon Crystal and on (You have a choice) Final Fantasy X-2 (Never played it, but from what I hear...) 2. Final Fantasy IV (Final Party: Cecil, Kain, Rosa, Rydia, Edge) Final Fantasy Tactics (In any particular battle, you fluctuate between 4 or 5 controllable characters) Can't think of another 5 person party... Most amazing jew boots |
- Threads of Fate (Mint) - Magic Knight Rayearth - Saga Frontier (Emelia, Asellus) - Unlimited Saga (Judy, Laura) I was speaking idiomatically. |
Here's one: Name 3 games with a suicide option built into the controls. Double Post: 1. Name 3 RPGs that involve time travel. Earthbound, Final Fantasy 1, and The Magic of Scheherazade. - Name a fighting game with at least one damage-dealing taunt. Super Smash Bros. Melee (Luigi's) - Which spells can you think of in the final fantasy series that never made it across into a different final fantasy game? Imp (FF6) Baha, this is fun! What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? DAMN good coffee!

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Great! I had FF VIII directly in my mind, but forgot about Secret of Mana being event-obtained. Next!
10) Name 3 RPGs in which at some point you control characters separately but they are all in the same dungeon, and you have to work together but separately to advance in the dungeon. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the obvious:
Final Fantasy VI. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
PoPoLoCrois is another one where you have to split up.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
The three RPGs I was thinking of with five controllable characters in battle were: Final Fantasy IV, Lunar, and Lunar 2, by the way. Didn't think about Final Fantasy Tactics.
Another RPG in which you have to split up to advance through the dungeon is Final Fantasy VIII, in the final one. FFVI was the first to come to mind, though. I was speaking idiomatically. |
The ones I was thinking of for five controllable characters during battle were: Final Fantasy IV, Lunar, and Albert Odyssey.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
For splitting up, also FF VII (last dungeon as well), and Wild Arms (a certain tower).
11) Name 3 RPGs where one of your main characters is unusable in the final battle. By this I mean, due to storyline cirumstances, and this does not count games where (a) main character(s) have died sometime earlier in the story. 12) Name 3 RPGs where a special move/technique/attack/command is learnt in/before the final battle and in order to beat the game you MUST use aforementioned special move/technique/attack/command. Small exceptions for where it is technically possible to beat the game without it, but incredibly difficult. FELIPE NO |
As for the second one, I'd say Final Fantasy Tactics as you don't have to level up to gain JP. Final Fantasy IX again, you don't have to gain levels for AP. Final Fantasy VIII is obviously drawn from monsters. I guess you could make an arguement for Final Fantasy VII too as you "learn" by equipping. As you can see, my RPG selection is not very broad as every answer I've given is usually something from Final Fantasy. But nevertheless, I'll give a question here.... Name 3 Strategy RPGs that don't allow you to take a move back after you've done it. (I really can only think of one big one, but I dunno, surprise me) What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
1) Vandal Hearts
2) Final Fantasy Tactics 3) ? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
FF7 (don't you have to use omnislash on sephiroth or something?) Lunar SSSC(if you don't play that flute thing Luna doesn't come to her senses and ends up killing you right?) ================
Lode Runner (the guy seems to strangle himself and fall into a seizure) Bushido Blade 1 & 2 (not so much suicide as it is a "conceit" allowing the other player to kill you... it always felt suicidal in nature :3) ================ more questions! Name 3 different puzzle mascots that are unique to their puzzle series (meaning they didn't participate in any other games other than their own) Name 3 different games with cameos/appearances/references of characters from a different series i was wondering...would anything give this thread some smoother tracks to run on? anything to amp up the thread's feel? There's nowhere I can't reach. |
shin megami tensei: nocturne (devil may cry's dante is running around all over the place throughout the game; later recruitable) monster rancher 4 (fatal frame's miku hinasaki can be created if you use that game's disc to create a monster; additionally, kasumi can be created using the dead or alive 2: hardcore game.) This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. this space for rent.

There's also the fact that you can recruit Cloud in Final Fantasy Tactics. And a number of other characters. I dunno if that counts, since it's not technically another "series," but yeah.
How ya doing, buddy? |
- Ms. Accord from Puyo Pop Fever - Madame Luna from Bust A Move 4
- Ehrgeiz (FF VII characters all about) - Rival School (Sakura) 11) Name 3 RPGs where one of your main characters is unusable in the final battle. By this I mean, due to storyline cirumstances, and this does not count games where (a) main character(s) have died sometime earlier in the story. 13) Name 5 summons that do no damage. 14) Name 2 RPGs that utilizes cards instead of menus for battle usage. I was speaking idiomatically. |
14. Lost Kingdoms and Baten Kaitos What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

15) Name three games in which to start a new game or load a save file, you aren't navigating a standard menu.
16) Name 3 RPGs in which you can lower your level intentionally. FELIPE NO |
2. Final Fantasy XI (Just suicide over and over again) 3. Final Fantasy VIII (A shot in the dark, but I recall something that lowers your level that you can repeat. A monster or a blue magic ability) What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Xenosaga I ("Call me Mr. Driller!") Ape Escape 3...the Japanese version, at least (Ratchet monkey) Double Post:

Sorry for
I actually have three specific games in mind for that question. As for 11), I have two other games in mind too, but was surprised at that answer. Spoiler:
Let's try some more game-specific, and possibly easier questions: 16) In Legend of Mana, who is the best NPC partner you can have in terms of synchronization ability (not counting golems/monsters)? 17) In Secret of Evermore, name two places where you can permanently get stuck if you do the wrong thing. 18) In Super Mario RPG, what is the damage limit and which attack is capable of inflicting it? There's nowhere I can't reach. |
