Halo MMO?
In an issue of Game Informer, there was a small article mentioning that after Halo 3 Bungi wanted to make an MMO in the Halo universe. I would be like Planetside, FPS MMO. But has anyone els Heard about this?

First I've heard of it, but I don't think it'd make a good MMO. It's a fun multiplayer game, but I don't think it'll work well as an MMO, unless they do some really innovative stuff (besides "capture the flag/tower" type games).

Well, the original PC version of Halo was going to try and have massive multiplayer battles between human and convenant players, although after the dozenth delay and being bought up by Microsoft, that idea was obviosly changed.
But yeah, it would probably be similar to Planetside if they do make an MMO out of the universe. I'm sure at this point it's just one of the ideas they have for once they're done with Halo 3, I doubt they've put any serious effort into it or decided for sure what they'd do. Although I guess they didn't specify that it would be an MMOFPS if they did that...what if it's an RPG? Halo of Heroes? I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
