Burning audio CD
I'm having problems burning audio CDs. High notes tends to sound very static on my CD/MP3 players when I burn it as audio CD.
However, I tried burning the same music as mp3 file on my CD/MP3 player, and the high notes play fine. Why is that? I wish to be able to play audio CDs with treble that doesn't sound fucked up. I tried lowering my treble on my speakers, without any success. Jam it back in, in the dark. Dance party! |
What software are you using to convert/burn MP3 files to Audio CD? Have you considered switching for testing purposes?

Your burning program could be applying some filters or trying to normalize the tracks, which is the only thing I can think of.
That or your CD player is screwed This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I'm using Nero to burn. And yes, I clicked on "normalize volume" when burning audio CDs. Maybe that's why. I'll test it without hte normalizing the volumes.
