MAC OSX Tiger MSN 5.0 Hotspot problem
I'm using my Powerbook to connect to several Hotspots all over Belgium, on the way to school, in the train stations, in school, etc...
I can access the internet perfectly fine, but when I try to connect to the hotspot internet service with my msn 5.0, it refuses to connect to the server. I've contacted the hotspot internet provider and they say their systems allow the use of instant messengers such as MSN , ICQ, AIM, etc... At home I'm using a wireless network as well. I can connect to it without any problems at all... So does anyone know what the problem might be? Thanks! -MV Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Does it connect through Adium but not MSN?

yes, I just tried Adium. Using the HTTP connection option I seem to be able to connect just fine. Msn doesn't have a HTTP connection option...
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
