Usually, I end up storing them for at least a few months. The last thing I need is a releative/friend coming over one day and finding their Birthday/Christmas card to me in the trash. But really though, unless they are really important I just chuck them, I have enough clutter as-is.

I keep all the cool ones locked up in a drawer along with other cool personal stuff. Don't worry though, I make sure to give them drinks of water every so often. They're okay. I hope.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Most of the greeting cards I receive get put away in a shoe box....however, they occasionally do get tossed in the trash whenever I'm on one of my clean up days!!!
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I keep all my cards, depending on who they came from. I have cards back from when I was a kid. The one thing I don't keep is the envelopes they came in. Most of the time there's nothing written on the outside so I toss it in the trash. My cards are usually filed with my writings so they stay safe.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
I generally throw away my cards after keeping them in a box under my bed after a few months.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
I usually keep a lot of the cards that I've gotten during holidays in a big art booklet that goes as far back as the year I was born. My mom is very nostaligc about those kind of things, so she game the art booklets to me, so that I can keep the tradition.
So in a way I keep the tradition alive, but I don't know how long I'll hold onto the cards, but its always best to hold onto little childhood memories. FELIPE NO ![]() |
O man. The cards I have received from some of you people. I have SO MANY. ;_;
Every year, I have a BIG manila envelope ready for after-Christmas packing. I usually put all t he cards I get on the fireplace mantel in our living room to make everyone else in the house jealous of my awesome internet buddies. (And stir a little suspicion.) After Christmas is over, I take all my cards, stash them in that HUGE manila envelope, and put them in a slot in my cabinet above my computer at home. I have a separate manila envelope where I put greeting cards for family affaires and the like. But they're never as awesome as cards from GFFers. <3 What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
