Battle of the flat-panel televisions
I've done my research on this but I'd still like to ask the public....which do you think is better? A plasma television or an lcd televison. I personally like the lcd television over the plasma.....
Jam it back in, in the dark.

I like the looks of LCDs most of the time. Price is a big factor for most buyers, and LCDs are just cost prohibitive at larger sizes.
Each has it's upsides and downsides which I'm sure you've read all about. But the only way to tell is to see them in person and decide which looks 'right' to you. There's nowhere I can't reach.

For further research, if you'd like, check out this site as it explains most of the basics of LCDs vs Plasmas and also talks about DLP type TVs.
I personally like the bright contrast of LCDs that I've seen in stores over the plasma. The plasmas seem too dim in my opinion. I'm sure the DLPs are good too as they are generally lower in price (after doing some electronic window shopping), however in terms of picture, my number one choice is flat panel LCDs. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() - What we all do best - |

Plasma TVs are subject to phosphor burn-in so you shouldn't buy one for playing.

sorry, totally spelled panel wrong....and thanks for the advice you guys, I think I'm going to go with an LCD though they do have particular pixelation problems that might be inevitable. However, I can look over any pixel problem when compared to phospor burn-in from any plasma. Thanks Again!!!
I was speaking idiomatically.
