Super Monkey Ball is BACK!

http://media.revolution.ign.com/medi...77/vids_1.html

Holy crap, i'm so excited about Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz after seeing these movies! Jump looks cool, they've actually designed the levels around it, and some of those mini games look awesome fun. Graphics are very nice and smooth.

Hope this is a launch game, i'll be picking this up day 1!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I've been ABSOLUTELY DYING for a propper Monkey Ball sequel way before Wii was anounced. Now I'm beyond estatic! The game looks great! Oh and once, again, the graphics are awsome even for an underpowered system! I believe this is a launch title, no?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

It hasn't been confirmed, but the developers are saying they would like it to be out at launch, but wont rush it if they can't do it. Hopefully they can pull it off!

I'm glad to hear about the two upcoming SMB games, this being one of them. I always loved the zany action involved for a mere puzzle game, and I sure as hell loved Monkey Target and Monkey Dogfight (Dogfight reminds me SO much of Star Fox 64!).

What's even more intersting is this series is taking a turn into a new concept - an adventure game mixed as a puzzle game. Can't wait to see this come out!

I have no idea about what it's like compared to Marble Madness, i've never played that.

It's basically a game with very simple controls and objectives, but it gets VERY hard. It's dependent on pure skill, basically you have to roll to the finish line in a stage without falling off the edge, and it can get very tricky, thin platforms, time limits etc. Oh and it also has a ton of mini-games to go with it.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Is monkey target the mini game where you went down the ramp to go flying into the air? Then you'd have to collect stars and items to land in the area with the most points????

If so, that game is AMAZING!!!!!

That DEFINATELY sounds a lot like Marble Madness then. It was this old school 8-bit NES game that was exactly like that, and as it progressed, eventually got hard as hell. my guess however is that SMB isnt loaded with the things that made Marble Madness excruciatingly annoying, hence why the franchise seems so popular. I'll have to eventually check it out.

That's it

That was in Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2, I haven't seen it in this version yet but hopefully it shows up... I think they are only demo'ing the new minigames, and the old minigames will return as well.
