Trauma Center: Second Origami Octopus

I will make a thread on the internet! It'll have the first screens of a video game based around a center of some kind, one that gives everyone free trauma. Possibly a shopping center. The screens will have a nice clean look to them despite dealing with radioactive jelly and a nurse that has shrunk down to fit inside the human body in order to cut internal organs with mind bullets.

The images will be hosted on a shack, an image shack. A shack full of images. A shack attack.

But then I'll provide a source, and everyone can click it and look at the exact same images. Except there is one more! There are no gameplay impressions, I will plan a sentence saying there will probably be some soon! I'll boil the jug, it's gonna be an intense thinking session.

Oh it's already over!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Post trauma center..

looks interesting; the visuals are colorful & crisp, but i need to see this in motion before deciding - hopefully, the animation will take full advantage of Wii's capabilities..

^ Animation, who cares?

A cool addition to this could be the fact that you have two motion sensors, you might need to pick things out of peoples bodies with two sticks. Or hold open a wound with your right hand while shoving your left hand inside someone.

Watch this game become the cause of a surge in buying Wii controllers.

Because seriously, if it has any of the difficulty that Trauma Center for the DS has, I see people throwing those damn controllers in rage.

And here I haven't even completed the first one (blast you Final Sin!!).

Looks great aside from the anorexic versions of Derek and Angie.

I like how everyone said Trauma Center was going to better than Phoenix Wright when they both came out for the DS.

Idiots.

That said, this looks pretty intersting, especially with the wiimote.

I haven't even started on the first one yet, but this is looking like another reason for me to get a Wii.

Although made by different people, I hope Phoenix Wright makes the jump to Wii someday too.

Trauma Center is damn frustrating on the DS but at the same time very very awesome. This game looks to be in the same league of course but hopefully navigating through tools will be quicker and make the game less frustrating. I think that is what made the DS version so tough was always having to look for your tools.

Is this....true? Surprises at every corner. My mouth is quite literally watering right now. (Though that may be a side affect of the grapefruit I just tried to eat.)

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

This game is really shaping up to be pretty cool. New video released and I'm glad I've plopped down my money for it.

From what I've read the Wii version will have a difficulty setting. This version's normal will the same as the DS's version. Then easy will hopefully be less stress inducing, and hard.....well I don't think I'm masochistic enough to even think about how bad that would be.

edited cause I can't spell >_<

I was speaking idiomatically.

Thank you Guest for the kickass signature!

Hard mode... with a Wiimote... hmm, this may just turn out to be the hardest game of the post-2000 era! Should be good practice for my bur control though

I hope this game will be better than the first but one thing bothers me: have you noticed some images resembles some situations we have seen on DS and some pictures shows new dialogues as well? So that means, it will be a remake plus a true sequel??

I guess you haven't read much about this game then. It's a remake of the first game with some added features and stories and stuff and it uses the Wii controller and nunchuk attachment for control. It's supposedly much better than the DS game. Seeing a video of it in motion I can agree. I like selecting tools on the fly via the analog stick on the nunchuk. That was the biggest turn off for me when playing the DS game was that I was spending way too much time trying to find my tools and then my patient would die on me b/c the game tends to be split second wasted you lose. I hear they're adding in difficulty settings as well which I'm very grateful for.

And FINALLY difficulty settings... And has anyone else noticed he has Onion in the title?

But this game looks impressive, as always. When I get the Wii, this is probably the first game i'm getting.

Eye Gee En review. 8/10. They sure do like to bitch about games not having enough voice acting! Can't wait for their Zelda review, 0/10.

I'd bitch more about the lack of a 16:9 widescreen mode than voice acting. IMO all Wii games should have both 16:9 widescreen and progressive scan. Does it really effect the game that much? Not really but I just don't like black bars on the sides of my sweet TV.

Oh and as many times that you're going to fail in this game you're mostly going to skip any voice acting like you already do with the text. It'd just be quick blurbs of broken audio over and over as you frustratingly try to hack your patient and yell at Angie to shut the hell up. It already happens with quick sound bytes. Do we really have to have the full deal to excentuate it?

I think I'd only be mad about voice acting if this were a Phoenix Wright game for Wii with no full voice acting. We've seen full voice acting for Phoenix Wright commercials and it sounds awesome.

What Acer said. People shouldn't worry about voice acting when you consider the amount of gameplay you have over whatever story it is this time.

I'm playing Trauma Center on the DS for the first time and it's pretty hard. I don't mind though, but yeah, can anyone actually confirm the difficulty level of the Wii version? I'm not sure if using the Wii remote would make the procedures easier or harder.

Easier, but that doesn't mean getting A-rank surgeries is likely.
