From what I can tell, Gelb-2 is trying to say that the PS3 controller and the Wii Remote have NOTHING (verbatim) in common, while the Technophile is attesting that the PS3 controller's gyroscope functionality is a rip off the Wii Remote because of their similarities.

I'll have to side more strongly with Technophile (though you are now both being shitheads) particularly because of Gelb-2's decided escalation with his "fuck" post, and I can't really tolerate blatantly rampant crude behavior.

Secondly, I'd like to point out that the ability to sense in 3 dimensions, regardless of Gyroscopic technology, is SIMILAR in both the Wii Remote and the PS3 controller. Please do not tell me, Gelb, that the two have NOTHING in common.

Alright, the "ripoff" thing isn't about the exact technology used, it's about the IDEA and DIRECTION behind the alternate gameplay method. The fact that they are copying it is really irrelivant though, what IS relivant is that it's half arsed. They would have been better off not showing such a thing at all, so we'd all be talking about MGS4 instead of Wii.

Overall though, great looking games like MGS4 remain unaffected and awesome.
