Question about Chrono Cross "Radical Dreamers"

I just listened to this song again recently, and noticed something really weird...does the singer actually have a lisp?! I have to say, that just completely blows my mind, and yet I've never seen anybody so much as mention it anywhere else.

Seriously now, am I just imagining things here??

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The time of the song when this happens would be appreciatted.

But such an awesome song can't be ruined by one small lisp.

Well, I'm talking about in general...her s's and ts's just don't sound quite right. I guess it's most noticeable at the very beginning ("osanai," "sono," "samayoi") and at the end (2:57, "sora").

I might need check a lossless version...maybe it's just my sound setup playing tricks.

I've noticed this slight alteration in her pronounciation, but I think it's just her way of singing. Several other japanese singers tend to resort to this kind of awkward "style".

Nonetheless, I concur. It's an awesome song.
