Gonna throw in my next nomination while I've got the free time here.
Title: Machine Gun (Gran Turismo 4 Pop Rox Remix) Artist: The Commodores Album: The Music from and Inspired by Gran Turismo 4 Track Number: 2(?) This is the nomination that I rescinded before I was approached with the Follin Week idea. 'Machine Gun' is actually a song from the 70s, but this remix was created specifically for this special GT4 album and exists nowhere else, qualifying it for SotW. The mix takes a very radical departure from the original song, so I feel it can be evaluated solely upon its own merits instead of as the arrangement some might initially think it to be. I've looked about but I can't find any remix credits anywhere. The album was originally obtained from #gamemp3s, so I trust its validity. I'm currently finishing up a hospital stay, so I don't know the track number 100%. I'm going by memory and the info stored in my iPod. I'll upload the track to Kaleb's folder upon my return home. How ya doing, buddy? ![]()

2 points - Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future (Game Rip) - Aquamarine Bay
2 points - Future Tactics: The Uprising (Game Rip) - Enemy Attack II 2 points - www.timfollin.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk - The Tick This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
3 points for Enemy Attack
2 points for Ghosts and Ghouls 1 point for THE TICK because it's THE TICK. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Voting is (finally) closed!
Since it's the middle of the week, nominations will remain open until the weekend some time. 1). [21] Future Tactics: The Uprising (Game Rip) - Enemy Attack II 2). [20/13.5] Ghouls 'N Ghosts (Amiga Game Rip) - Title 3). [20/12] Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future (Game Rip) - Aquamarine Bay 4). [19] www.timfollin.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk - The Tick 5). [17] Solstice: The Quest for the Staff of Demnos (Game Rip) - Title 6). [9] Firearm (Game Rip) - Title 7). [8] Treasure Master (Game Rip) - World 3 8). [0] Super Off Road (SNES Game Rip) - Fandango I was speaking idiomatically. |
Wow, those results are surprising. G 'N G got a point from me, but the other three songs I voted for didn't place. :-/
Amazing that out of all the votes Fandango didn't get a single point. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
Check out my original music at my Soundcloud page!
Latest music rips (updated January 10, 2012): SimCity DS - Jazz/ambient/electronic music including interesting reworkings of songs from the fantastic SimCity 3000 soundtrack Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels? Play-Asia - Japanese CDs, game soundtracks, game imports, & more

The songs I gave points to came in 4th, 6th and 7th. And my least favorite track won.
Am I the only one who thought Treasure Master's World 3 was better than Solstice's Title? FELIPE NO ![]() |
And the chiptune conspiracy continues.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() so they may learn the glorious craft of acting from the dear leader |
Another week lost to GFF. gg.
Most amazing jew boots

Yeah, seriously. Lack of voters FOR THE LOSE.
Also, I'm surprised that Solstice only came in 5th; I thought it would be in the top 3 for sure. Anyway, I certainly did well this week. The top two tracks are both ones I was involved with getting here (ripped Future Tactics and nominated Ghouls & Ghosts). And thefatebreaker finally got a song placed; wow! There's nowhere I can't reach.

I was hoping for a nice Bronze medal on that nomination. But this does mean that I can use it for upcoming purposes and not feel poorly about it.Similarly, I'm surprised Aquamarine Bay only took 3rd. It's long but it remains a delight throughout. I wonder if some didn't turn it off halfway, thinking that they got the gist of it. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
My two surprises were that The Tick did as well as it did and Aquamarine Bay didn't win. I thought Ecco had it locked up, to tell the truth. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
