I saw it the other night. Wasn't expecting much, and didn't get much either.
The highlights: the TriPod, Yoko the office stationary station, the impressive visual and aural similarities to War of the Worlds, Leslie Neilson: "UN" (best line ever, second was Oliver's plans for his own Tripods). The lowlights: The opening sequence, the ridiculosly predictable jokes (as opposed to just predictable ones) and the tediously long (though initially funny) epilogue. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

I expect, being so short a film, it could be a deleted sequence. Otherwise it was probably just persuading people to come see it.
