That song is great, it has a similar feeling to a lot of Ouendan's music. Since a lot of the J-Rock that was used is heavily influenced by western pop and rock music, I think it should be easy to find a soundtrack that fits well with the spirit. I'm kinda hoping for something along the lines of Kokoro Odoru though, it's one of my favorite songs from the first game and it has a style that you don't hear much over here (kind of a hip-hop/latin fusion).
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Though a lot of this list is not so good, I'm really looking forward to playing "Rock This Town" and "Canned Heat".
Agreed about Hardware Store. That would be the perfect Ouendan song. There's nowhere I can't reach.

Well, I got the ROM, and...it's not compatible with G6 Lite, I guess. So much for being a cheapass
![]() But lucky for me, I was planning to buy it anyway. I'm glad it has been getting good reviews, and that it has made improvements in some ways over Ouendan. Can't wait until I have a few bucks so I can go get it. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I got my paycheck today and decided to finally get this one. Don't know what to say, really. The system remains intact, which is nice. The soundtrack isn't exactly comprised of my favorite songs, but neither is Ouendan's, so whatever. My biggest complaint, having played through Normal and Hard mode, is that the hits are really oddly placed in many songs. It just seems really unnatural the way some of them are syncopated, Canned Heat and Without a Fight coming immediately to mind. It seems like a lot of western music is more loose in its timing than J-Rock, which must make it harder to sync it up properly.
Jumpin' Jack Flash, however, makes up for any deficiency the game might have, as it's not only an awesome song (and a good cover, at that), but it has some of the best patterns in either game. There some other good ones like September, YTI, Rock This Town (yay, they used the Brian Setzer Orchestra version, I love that arrangement), Let's Dance...maybe some others. I'd say the good and bad songs are pretty evenly matched up. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
