I've found that the same people who make fun of me for listening to video game music would also make fun of me for listening to classical music, orchestral music, electronic music, and a few other genres. Or, essentially any non-mainstream music. And once I realize that their musical tastes are completely awful, I stop caring what they think about my musical taste.
But most people turn out to be pretty cool with it. And I've even had a few people take interest in it after hearing some of my music. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
