I have the same fucking problem with my Dell. That stupid temperature sensor sends the thing into deafening mode around 75 degrees. I usually pull off the side case, vacuum the fan and whatever it's connected to and leave the case open.

Basically, I'm saying I'd love to know of a decent real solution also.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
