Lots of cheese. Onions, bell peppers, black olives, spicy italian sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, mushrooms ... it can all go on there.
As far as pineapple, sometimes a balance of sweet, salty, and acidic just hits the spots with the flavor of mild melted mozzarella. Pineapple and bacon (maybe with ham).
