Piano Squall - Otakon
Was just wondering if anyone here has seen him perform. He seems fairly well known in the anime world and I was just curious as to what your experiences were like.
The reason I ask is because I just did a feature profile on him at IGN. Pianist Performs Game Music for Charity He also plays anime/vg music for a good cause, so if you haven't heard of him, please check it out  I also blogged about our interview here: soapymoose's Blog - Zzz... It's funny, because I got into VGM because of gamingforce when they used to have sheet music. After being a part of this community and SquareSound, it eventually led me to pursue a career in the VG industry so I owe a lot of my job satisfaction to these forums  Jam it back in, in the dark. |

He did Otakon in 2005 and that was the big concert with around 3000 people. Was it that one? Sounds like it. I'm not too familiar with anime conventions, but he's been at 30 different ones. (nuts!)
