Well, Macbooks run on an Intel graphics chipset, which right now isn't seen by Vista as an "acceptable" graphics chipset, so you'll never get Aero on it (or without hacking.) I'd say it would run just beautifully with 1GB of RAM, but you're not going to get "the full effect."
Macbook Pros, since they run with an ATI Radeon Mobility chipset will be "completely" "Vista Ready?Approved." Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

You could just run Windows on a 20GB partition and you'd be settled for quite a while.
But that's just how I usually set things up when dual-booting, 20GB for the "minor" OS. Most amazing jew boots |
