I'm using Rpg maker XP right now... the limitations are really heavy on the programming side. They lay the ground work for you and all you have to do is write story and import content.
I tend to prefer game engines like Unreal Engine, Dark Basic, Toque, and Wild Tangent... many more options. although I haven't touched Dark Basic in years... did they ever update it with a visual interface? cuz that would rock. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
