Well, so far Iowa is doing about as I would have expected. First year quarterback, young offensive line and basically no receiving corps at all. Especially now that our starting TE broke his arm, and our only tested wideout injured his hamstring against Wisconsin. Time to bring in the redshirts!
One thing is sure, though. Unless Wisconsin just had an off night, they really aren't all that deserving of their rank, and I think there are many teams in the B10 that are going to beat them. I expected them to mop the floor with the Hawkeyes, and really...they had to beat us in the last 2 minutes. Jam it back in, in the dark.

Sorry to say, but no team from the B12North should ever be ranked #1. EVER.
at least not since Nebraska stopped being Nebraska. Aaaand...Ohio State back in the NCG. They said the B10 was having a down year. But now all the other conferences know what it's like to play in a conference that constantly has a lot of, say it with me...parity! There's nowhere I can't reach.

I dunno. But it makes for fuckin' entertaining football, doesn't it? (oh yeah, illinois is still going BCS bowling. is it such a bad loss?)
