I still watch the DVDs all the time. They still get good bellylaughs after all these years. However, season 9 is probably the last DVD set I am going to purchase, because like others have said, the quality of the writing takes a nosedive after season 9.
Looking forward to: Das Bus - The Lord of the Flies parody episode. The Trouble with Trillions - Homer, Mr. Burns and Smithers escape to Cuba to avoid the US government. This Little Wiggy - Bart hangs out with everyone's favorite space cadet, Ralph Wiggum, and they visit the abandoned prison. The Joy of Sect - Great spoof of Scientology and cults in general. Top 10 episode of all time right there. The Cartridge Family - Great episode where Homer gets a gun, much to Marge's chagrin. I'd say Season 9 is still classic Simpsons, even though 4-5 of the episodes in the season are as bad as anything produced in the later seasons. Most amazing jew boots |
