No, FFIV advanced had lag and "double turns" glitches in battles. Well, the American/Japanese versions did anyway. Surprisingly, they really did fix it for the European version.
Anyway, As far as I can tell, FFV does not have any of these problems. The worst thing I've noticed so far is that if you skip through menus too quickly the sound might pop. Everything else seems to be just as it should be. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Sometimes after getting a turn, the same character will immediately get another turn. It's uh, awkward.
Just go to the site Dgemu and search for the game, you can get the European version there. It isn't as though it's tremendously better, just that it's the experience I assume they were shooting for to begin with. Aka, less glitchy. They also fixed Yangs hp growth so it doesn't just stop around 6000. =P There's nowhere I can't reach. |
FFV is always easy at the start. I never bother to start leveling at all until I get some job classes, and it's never difficult to manage.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
It's not in a chest, it's on a table inside one of the ships. You can go back anytime you want, or you can wait until the fire powered ship and get it there. (also on a table in the ship-like area before the actual dungeon parts)
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
No, gladiator is a new class made especially for the GBA version. The berserker class is in both. Totally different.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
There is a place near endgame where you can learn every single blue magic spell, so don't worry about that.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Max job level varies from job to job. Berserk for instance only has 2 jobs, whereas knights have 6. One of the better places early on is probably the caves with the skull eaters; but there are better spots later on (Castle Baal's basement with level 5 death works wonders).
Also, by the time you reach the end of the game, there are infact enemies that can give upwards of 199 AP per battle, so if you are only mastering certain jobs for the sake of mastering them; you can just wait and do it endgame. Focus on the ones you want to use and mix-match skills that way. FELIPE NO |
tent doesn't fully heal you, a cottage does. This becomes much more noticeable the more diminished your MP and such is and the further you get in the game.
