This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Going into V8 expecting anything other than V8 is certainly silly and dumb. The end product was pretty much a perfect remake. Nostalgia be damned, it is a great car combat game.

You can't say "average effort" and then turn around and praise another remake for being just as true to the source material from which it comes.

There's a fair bit of variety between racing games, man. These things are not all that similar, especially when your points of comparison are two genre staples. That's all I'm sayin'.

There's aliens in Contra that can explode violently when shot. Copy of Gears of War?

Why would it be good news, in any capacity?

Even though this doesn't effect me since I was planning on buying the circlebox version, I wonder about the reasons here. It doesn't make sense from a moneyhat standpoint, since why go for exclusivity in only one region. It doesn't makes sense from the SONY DON'T LIKE NO PORTS thing people throw around because there's a shit tonne of that on the PSN. I can't imagine it failing SCEA QC tests and passing SCEE's.
