I've always been kind of enamored with the idea of a tattoo, more than the reality of it. I like symbolism, and the idea of a reminder, like something you can always use to ground yourself.
I've toyed with the notion of a basic yin-yang between my shoulderblades, but frankly I don't think I'm quite hipster enough to carry it off. It's pretty clear to anyone that hears me speak for more than 20 seconds that I'm a nerd. About how much would something basic like that run me? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
