Replacement battery for KLIC-8000, can I use AA's?

I am thinking about buying this camera, but am wondering if I can put regular aa battery into this camera (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1138085815434)
I am looking at this camer because I already brought 4 GB of sd memory cards and a case for a sd compatable camera.

Camera info:

Battery info:

http://www.ambientweather.com/dbdlk8000.html
http://www.camera-warehouse.ca/produ...ODAK-KLIC-8000

I don't like such batteries because they can't be recharged when I am at the park or at the beach. I also have lots of regular NIMH batteries because they were cheap at walmart over this past winter.

If I don't buy the koday, then I will either buy (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16830120179) or http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1138085156631 or http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1138084657346

But for the sony I don't have any memory cards for this camer, and they are expensive! I look at the panasonics and they also use such proprietary battery. The best feature for this Kodak or Cannon or Sony is the 12X zoom with image stabilazation. I looked at the camera at the store, but they won't let me open the battery compartment.

Please help!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

thank you for info
then I won't look at the camera then. Down to the Canon or Sony, but I would need to find a use for the 4 GB of sd cards. Does anyone make a camera that uses aa batteries but also with a 12X zoom?

I am looking for image stabilzation with 12x zoom and something that also uses aa batteries, because they can be brought anywhere.

But doesn't it look like that the lithium battery socket can hold 2 aa batteries, what would happen if I put 2 aa batteries in?

There's nowhere I can't reach.
