I've been wondering about how damage happens in this game for awhile, like how AC works and shit. For example, I hit Iggy for 4 damage. Does this mean I rolled a 1 and had +3 added to it? Or I rolled n and had +3 added, minus his AC, coming to 4 hp damage?

Similarily my character isn't going to be happy about turning the sword in.

However, there is something to be said about keeping an eye on the HBA, if we want to know who threw us in the dungeon. And on the other other hand, it may be fruitful to find out why Broden and the sword are targetted if we keep the giant bulls-eye on us.

Although I'm sure Pang would be more than delighted if we had that kind of hubris, wanting to bump some people off to put new players in our slots...

Actually think about it. We can't rest at night, that's suicide. We can't take them all on at once for the same reason. If we draw parties of the undead into our obviously-occupied building we can spread out our encounter powers* relative to the number of monsters to fight.

I agree that we need to take the final assault during the day however. Undead is weaker during the day yeah?

Hey, can we perform hit-and-run attacks? Me and Shin run up and shoot a zombie or two dead, then get the hell out of dodge? That may be a good way to wear down their numbers too.
