College Basketball 2006-2007
The NCAA Basketball season is now in full swing and it looks to be yet another exciting year of college ball. This is doubly true for me, what with my beloved Pittsburgh Panthers ranked number two in all of the land.
Truthfully, the Panthers immense success has surprised me. I would have never expected a basketball powerhouse to come out of this area, a city without a strong basketball history, and without a professional franchise (unless you count the CBA X-plosion!). But, here we are. Anyway, enough about my team. There are a bunch of great looking teams this year. Of course there are the #1 UCLA Bruins (coached by former Pitt coach Ben Howland =D) and the North Carolina Tar Heels look to be a top contender once again. So, what do you anticipate out of the current season? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Yeah, so the Panthers have had an alright season so far, losing a couple to highly ranked opponents. If we can make it through the conference with only a couple more losses I'd be really happy.
And boy does UCLA look dangerous! =o Most amazing jew boots |
UCLA was upset bigtime last night. Stanford staged a massive comeback to beat them right at the end. Great game.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Pitt's worst lost ever at The Pete. Ouch.
