Little Miss Sunshine

I just found out this is playing at a small theater around my house. I've been really excited about seeing this ever since a few reviews popped up on the net. It looks terrific. Just my brand of humor, too.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I just saw this last night in a two screen theater with a few friends. Luckily, we all got our tickets early, because the showing ended up selling out nearly twenty minutes before the showtime. Once we got in there, the room was, of course, packed. I was so glad to see this kind of film getting a big audience.

Now, as for the actual movie, even with the very high expectations I went in with, I was amazed at how well everything played out. In my opinion, it was a near perfect movie. Things were comedic when they needed to be, but seemlessly flowed into drama when that was necessary. This was easily the best film I've seen in theaters in many years. If you haven't already, get out there and see this before it's too late. You won't regret it.
