Well they beat them in the WC, and this being a friendly isn't all too important. Germany have usually had stronger sides than Sweden throughout history anyway. It is different to play against world class opposition than a decent side. These games are just to work out strategies, find out what's wrong and whom looks promising etc. It's a confidence booster/sapper.
OK I never saw this game, I watched the England Greece friendly. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
