Like Omagnus said, the aliens would more than likely have some sort of EMP device to destroy our robots and our cell phones and we'd all be lined up for the probing within an hour.
 Which is why I say we get us an army of mass-produced ED-209s with magnet proof technology that I just made up before the aliens get here. Jam it back in, in the dark.
