Nobody has mentioned it so I will: Humidity. That's what get's me. I can stand hot temperatures, but if it's humid, that's when I don't want to move around too much.

Be sure to appreciate your ACs, when traveling you have to put up with what you've got. Once I was on a Caribbean island (so obviously the weather was hot), then I went somewhere in the U.S. (where they happened to be having a heat wave), then California which you can usually assume will be hot. When going off to Europe though, I was certain I'd finally catch a break, but guess what? The day I happened to arrive, they were having one of their hottest days ever! It was even hotter than it was in California! No AC, top floor of a building -it was wonderful.
