Here's a trick I discovered by accident in the original Quake w/expansion pack one (the one which adds proximity grenades, lava nails, etc. to the arsenal) and am curious as to whether anyone else here has run across it: it is very possible to lob a prox-bomb in such a way that it settles 'inside' a health pack. Until the bomb expires, woe unto anyone who rounds the corner in need of health.
I ended up catching a couple of people that way; it was very amusing. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
