As for gun fights, the one near the end of Way of the Gun pretty much tops everything else I've ever seen. It doesn't follow the typical "everyone misses the heroes, heroes take people out in one shot" formula you see in a lot of movies. You see everyone using strategies, and the scene is very realistic and really long. It's great. Equilibrium however deserves mention as well due to extreme style points.
And of course, like everyone else said, the Oldboy fight is excellent. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
