Being the kind of person in this situation:
"A personality that is fun and interesting when one on one"
I'm inclined to say that I would rather be the kind of person that is fun in groups. I can relate to all my friends very well if it's just me and them, or at least to some degree if we're not that close. However, in group settings, and sometimes even when it's my set of best friends, I'm not very adept at being fun and lively to the full extent I could be with certain friends one on one. I just find it much easier to relate with people one on one.
Being fun in groups would be highly advantageous since you'd be able to appeal to a wide variety of people, much like certain friends of mine are able to do. Even if they aren't as exciting individually, it wouldn't matter when they're having fun and being amiable with many people.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
