I really hate disposables actually... I would suggest you give up on those pieces of crap. Here is what I suggest, get a badger hair brush, some good shaving soap, and a safety razor, or if you really want a close good feeling shave a straight razor. You can get all of that here:

The good shaving soap will lather up nicely and provide you with a very nice shave which will prevent your razor bumps.
Now if you want to keep your shaving the same then use a safety razor, it's safe (duh), it lasts for a good amount of time instead of dulling out in like a week and it'll give you a good shave. If you do a straight razor, be prepared to spend a good amount of time for your shaving, and it's a little more dangerous (you're shaving with something that you could chop a finger off with, well maybe not... but oh well) but it'll be the best shaves you'll ever get (unless you got a barber shaving you with a straight razor).
I use a straight razor, but it's completely up to you as to what you use in the end.
BTW, try shaving after you take a warm shower, and use warm water on your face before you lather up.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
