I usually build routers from thin clients (IGEL thin clients with one additional PCI slot are good) and use fli4l or ipcop as a routing software.
URLs: fli4l: News IPCop.org :: The bad packets stop here! Also works with old desktop systems, if you can live with the size of them. Pretty neat for a lot of advanced settings and a rock-stable system (4 years router uptime is nothing special). Jam it back in, in the dark. |
