I have a stupid question for Mr. Pang.

Virtually all of the attacks (except Shin's spells and Daunting Light), go against "AC". What is this AC - accuracy or acrobatics?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

That sounds rather plausible. I guess the lot is screwed, since most of their attacks will strike against this Armor Class. So much for Pangalin's sage advice

So it's down to making attacks against the proper defenses.

Stupid question. Are the battle mechanics different for player characters than for monsters? I refer specifically to killing, since it seems monsters die the moment their HP reach 0, while players die after their HP is less than negative one-half of their maximum HP.

How ya doing, buddy?

One moar question. Suppose you roll a 20 for hit, but AC is greater. Does that mean an automatic critical hit, or does it miss?

Edit: Scratch that question. You guys made 4 posts while I wasn't looking ._.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Isn't it permitted for you ranged attackers to keep using them each turn, and using your move actions to back up the number of squares the zombies shamble forward?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

knk, I thought players have 1 standard action (his frying pan), 1 minor action (shift to T9), and 1 move action (move to U10) per turn?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Oh ok, I thought a move action can count as a minor action.

What did your vastly more complicated plan to save Bob's hide entail, Pang? For curiosity's sake?

You can tell me after Shin makes his move, so as not to prematurely save his character's hide for him.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Might not be as far off though. If Argumentus fails enough saves from Cemetery Rot, he's gonna kick the bucket and get zombified right?

I thought that's how you select monsters, by rolling some dice and doing some math.

You know, just like the way you do everything else in this game...

Diseases depend on the subject failing Endurance checks. Endurance is Arg's highest skill. Before Cemetery Rot kills you, it slowly eats away at your Fortitude, so he'd have to fail about 10 checks in a row before he finally cacked it.
Quick question about diseases, with Cemetery Rot in particular.

The 4e Open Grave Supplement Manual says this about the disease:

Level 11 Disease : Cemetery Rot
Attack: +14 vs. Fortitude
Endurance improve 22, maintain DC 17, worsen DC 16 or lower

You perform checks in order to determine whether you improve, maintain, or deteriorate, right?. So, when do you exactly perform these checks? Automatically after your turn, or do you have to sacrifice a Major/Minor action to do it?

How is it actually checked - do you roll a d20 and add the result to Endurance? Or is it just based on the Endurance stat?

How ya doing, buddy?

I mean it nearly killed bob
Not really. Bob's a wuss with so little HP

Don't be hatering! Besides, kinky answered it all by himself without reading this thread

Oh, just for the sake of curiosity, what were you planning to do if someone actually answered 9,000 cubic feet?

Zerg, you're not supposed to be giving them advice. We don't necessarily want them to die, but that doesn't mean that we should help them live any longer than necessary.
I'm not helping them live longer. Promise!
