Cal (or Glock or Gordok) can transfer enchantments to other symbols for 25G worth of components. Just need help in acquiring the preliminaries (175G for the ritual).

I was speaking idiomatically.

Actually what you have on offer is "Enchant Magic Item".

But if you would change that to "Transfer Enchantment", that would be excellent.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Why did you lie to me, Zerg

Why did you lie to all of us
I assumed that even if the ritual were not for sale, we could still learn it from the dudes who offer to do it for 175G

Like I actually pay attention to what I'm putting in the shops when nobody ever buys anything except empty jars and string
Why buy a sword when you can glue some old teeth to a 2x4! It's just basic economics, people
Don't worry, I'm going to be buying quite a lot of mundane things in the shops

Pang, I'm not quite sure if you'll allow the many discounts/trade I've asked for. I'll hold off on specifying which items to enchant until I know exactly how much GP worth of ritual components I have.

Also, "Eagle Eye Goggles" is definitely one of the things I want to make (520 GP). Where might Moocal go about finding mundane goggles?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Alright, depending on the results of the checks (and the merchants' largess, here are the things I wish to enchant, in descending order of importance.
  1. Mundane Leather Cap ==> Eagle Eye Leather Cap (520 GP)
  2. Mundane Arrow x4 ==>
    • Spider Bolt Arrow x1 (30 GP)
    • Freezing Arrow x1 (30 GP)
    • Lightning Arrow x2 (60 GP)
  3. Mundane Longbow ==> Duelist's Longbow +1 (520 GP)

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Tiros can't be trusted. (S)he is part of a mysterious Project Revenant after all!

Also Pang, since we're far far away from Thunderspire now, how's about you tell us what truly happened to Griffin Company and Murkelmor that day?

I despise unsolved mysteries, tis true.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Not quite, Pang. Let the record show that you have an equal preference!

1 - Dungeon of Doom - Dragon fight (climactic!)
2 - Crusader - HBA confrontation (anticlimactic!)
3 - Haunting of Hargast - Von Versteckt (climactic!)
4 - All in the Same Boat - Warforged fight (anticlimactic!)
5 - Delicious and Moist - Orc thief (climactic!)
6 - Secret Cow Level - Murkelmor the dead (anticlimactic!)

However you care to slice the patterns, we're due for a climactic confrontation!

I could've sworn you yourself described the way the HBA negotiations ended as "anticlimactic"

Hm, an adventure title with Lovecraftian overtones.

Note to self: Listen to Shin next time.

My intent was to prevent from being surprised. But I do see (and acknowledge) where you're going with that slippery slope argument.

I suspect the Argumentus plot thread would only work so long as Garrmondo remains in the party. The rest wouldn't know Mr. Hamfist from Adam.

In a similar vein of in-game knowledge, I'm still a bit puzzled why Glock would find Gabe's cousin "awfully familiar", but I digress...

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Nah, The entire party's probably annihilated already. Pang's prolly too drunk or busy to create five new characters and have them meet in a pub, is all.

Judging by the Lovecraftian horror theme of this adventure's title, I'd say snakes are the least of our worries. Totally hoping we're not up against a bunch of mind-flayers.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I've been long wondering how it's like to play on the DM's side of the screen. Since the current campaign is on hold, I'm wondering if any interest exists for a quick Dungeon Delve. I don't have the experience or capacity to run a campaign, quick or not (I have problems with characterization, and cannot "speak" in different voices the same way Pang effortlessly does.) But I think I can manage three to five encounters, trying my best to kill the players

Sooo, who wants to get murdered? I'm thinking five level-two players, prioritizing those people who have not gotten the chance to play on Pang's games yet. Absolute minimum is for you to pick a race and tell me which of the following roles you want to play:
  1. Defender - you're the "tank" of the group, and your job is to stick to the enemies so they can't hurt your more squishy friends. Indicative classes: Fighter, Paladin, Swordmage, Warden
  2. Leader - you generally don't have high damage output, but exist to augment your allies' power through healing or buffs, and weaken your enemies through debuffs. Indicative classes: Artificer, Bard, Cleric, Shaman, Warlord.
  3. Striker - your role is to deal as much damage as you possibly can to a single enemy at a time. Indicative classes: Assassin, Avenger, Barbarian, Monk, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock.
  4. Controller - the battlefield is your playground, your powers let you manipulate the situation to give maximum benefit to your allies. Indicative classes: Druid, Invoker, Psion, Seeker, Wizard.
Alternatively, pick a race and a class (refer to the first post of this thread for the complete list). If you wish, you can also (un)optimize your character to your heart's extent.

Now now Shin, I'm not saying that there has to be at least one of each role in the Delve. If the people want to make a bunch of helpless gnome monks, who am I to stand in the way of their demise? If they want to make a team of five ranged archers who can annihilate the opposition, who am I to bar them from their glory?

I was actually thinking of asking experienced players to come and play the monsters. Play to kill the party, that is...

I was speaking idiomatically.

Got three clarificatory questions:

1. From his current position, does Cal have line of sight to Mouther A? Does the wagon block the enemy in any way?

2. The augmenting whetstone confers +2 enchantment to item hit and damage. According to AV2, when using magical ammo, you can either use the bow's enchantment and lose the magic effects, or use the arrow enchantment to retain the effects. Since the whetstone confers the bonus on the bow, are magical ammo unable to benefit from whetstones?

3. Can Glock activate "Virtue of Cunning" on Gordok normally, or will the difficult terrain prevent the slide?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Fair enough. I was actually expecting this kind of wagon when I bought it:

Imagine my pleasant surprise when you gave me something like this:

Now to convince my fellow adventurers to buy 1 horse each, so we all fight safely atop a steed.
