somehow killed my ps2

Recently my slim ps2 has been acting up. When I go to turn it on (with or without a game) it will start for a second and go back to displaying the red light. Sometimes it will work if I leave it for awhile.

It started after my sister's friend came running into my room to see Halo 3 in his boxers while extremely high, and tripped over a cord knocking my ps2 off the table.

The only other cause I can think of is I've been playing backup dvds lately and opened my ps2 in order to tape down the sensor button, though its been fine for days after doing so.

Not sure whats wrong, I hope someone can help.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I wasn't a long fall, floor is carpeted. It still works at times so it's not completely broken.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I had a feeling I would be screwed. I was just hoping that a drop of two feet wouldn't hurt it that much considering my Wii has had a 30 pound shelf land on it from off the wall 7 feet up when my mom decided she wanted to take it down one day.
Luckily it seems that if it wont turn on the first time I just leave it for a few minutes and try again it will work.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

It's not that I don't take care of it. By some shitty luck the only day that I ever had my ps2 off of its shelf under the tv was then. Wasn't expecting some half naked dude barging into my room screaming and flailing about.

So I have no idea what exactly would be the problem with it in the first place. It displays the red off light normally, I press power and it switches to green for a second before turning off again.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
