God. What happened to Notre Dame? They like rolled over and died.

Taking bets and when they'll score their first touchdown.

USC vs Husker game was good. There are some crazy fans out there in the middle of nowhere. The point spread could have been bigger, but we decided to throw in some 2nd and 3rd string players. But man LSU you catching up! USC vs LSU?

Beat the Cougars!
Their starting quarterback withdrew from the school and transfered somewhere else

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

yeah, when I say OSU though I think Oregon St chokers Beavs.

But Oregon has the best shot because they played a VERY impressive game today. It came down to the last call, literally.

And I actually agree with an ABC announcer. I actually thought that Oregon would have sat 6 or 7.

But that was before Florida lost

I'm interested to see USC vs. Cal. Especially after watching USC against Wash. USC got LUCKY that Washington fumbled once on the kick and also in the endzone and managed to pull a touchdown

Its like last week all over again.

ATM ND is above UCLA 20-6
LSU is losing to Florida 14 to 24
Wisconsin Lost
Georgia lost

so apparently Cal could pop up to Number one without even having to play

Cal above Oregon State -- 14-13

Cal is at a mega disadvantage since Longshores sitting out and it looks like Riley, I think his name is, is a relative newcomer who is trying to, or was trying in the first quarter, to try and play a running game with a VERY agile Oregon St. defense.

Where Longshore, from what I saw during the Oregon game, relied on a very heavy passing game.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

There was a reasonable chance Cal had to tie or win it but no...Mr. Dumbass decides to run the ball with no fucking time outs

So It looks like Cal and LSU will get pushed down to numbers 7-10. Oregon and USC will get pushed up to I'd say 5-6 respectively.

Oregon St. is actually playing like a football team like they were last year and not a bunch of morons with their heads cut off.

Yeah, I agree on LSU...in triple overtime, LSU should have had that sack on the slant play. Defender just decided to take it a little slow.

Well...for the Rose Bowl it looks like its going to come down to the following games as long as Cal, USC and Oregon keep playing strong.

Cal vs. USC
USC vs. Oregon

If Cal manages to shake the loss to Oregon St. off and have Longshore stay healthy Cal has a good chance to possibly make it to the BCS championships.

USC its hard to see them making it to the BCS championships.

Auburn should've challenged it.

More crap

Okay, so fuck any other polls we got going on here, these are the only ones that matter now

BCS RANKINGS
Quote:
1. Ohio State
2. Boston College
3. LSU
4. Arizona State
5. Oregon
6. Oklahoma
7. West Virginia
8. Virginia Tech
9. Kansas
10. South Florida
11. Florida
12. USC
13. Missouri
14. Kentucky
15. Virginia
16. South Carolina
17. Hawaii
18. Georgia
19. Texas
20. Michigan
21. California
22. Auburn
23. Connecticut
24. Alabama
25. Penn State
Cal is one lucky duck. They have their next 5 games or so to prove themselves and to move up. A win over USC and Arizona St. will definitely put them back in the race for the Pac-10 title and a trip to the rose bowl. Same for Oregon.

Also, don't forget last week when USC wiped the floor with whoever they played last week and dropped like 4 places

the Cal - UCLA game was quite interesting to watch. there were some really bad calls for both teams and also the interception at 1:45 by UCLA sealed the deal.

Credit to Longshore to still play...essentially on one leg

Luck or not. LSU gained a victory. No matter how you look at it in the books, it will still say LSU -- Victory.

To you saying where's the love for Rutgers, what about Oregon State when they beat Cal, who was ranked #2, or Stanford who knocked off USC.

And you also need to remember that we are looking at the BCS rankings.

If it makes you feel better Sonic, both human polls ranked Arizona state down at 8, Oklahoma at 4, Oregon at 5 and WVU at 6.

The BCS rankings have ALWAYS been flawed. They're flawed, but not so flawed that they put undefeated teams right at the stop.

If they really did put a playoff system into the BCS, I have a good feeling USC, Oregon, Cal, Oregon St. and Arizona St. would do some damage.

I think the only reason they don't want to do it is because they'll have to reconfigure the BCS Bowl games and what not.

I agree with that, like have all 119 teams playing it out, single elimination and then when you get to like...x teams (where x equals number of bowl games/championships * 2) Then just start putting them into bowl games based off some kind of legit poll system (no computer shit) like the coaches and AP polls.

Have 1 and 2 be the championship game.

The only reason I like the rose bowl is because a Pac-10 team is going to get in no matter what.

The one team that I think should be up on the rankings would be Oregon St.

They're a great team, just had a bad string of luck/confidence in a few of their 4th quarters.
