With the stunt they pulled in Civil War #2, I have lost almost all hope for Marvel. If it weren't for Ultimates and Exiles, they'd have nothing. [mumble]Ruining Spider-Man--only going to get his loved ones killed...[/mumble]

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Much like the Sins Past thing they did.

It's things like that that have always bothered me about Quesada. He either doesn't like something or likes something too much, both of which show in some of what is put out in Marvel.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

You obviously don't understand the difference between taking a chance, as in doing something bold, and ruining the dynamic of a character. Also, you seem to not be able to comprehend what the logical conclusion to this is going to be, if it sticks. Peter can't get insurance. Peter can't get a job. His enemies kill his loved ones. There's not even the guarantee (despite his being there being a questionable decision in the first place) that he'll have the Avengers to turn to.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

No, they can't have the same stories for 30 years. However, a change in his life that can only lead to bad things happening to him just isn't appealing to me. You want your hero to have a crappy life? Okay, fine.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I didn't like Death in the Family, either. I guess if you're the kind of guy who liked Jenkins' and Ramos' work on Spider-Man, this kind of story would be right up your alley.

I was speaking idiomatically.
