Looks like...
Spoiler:
How ya doing, buddy? |
Um, so it's not Hardy Vs MVP in a boxing match but Hardy Vs Holyfield. I am smelling an angle here (else Hardy will get beat down even worse than in his match with Edge at SS 05).
FELIPE NO |
That would have made more sense given that both team 3-D and Daniels had title shots. Somehow, I have a feeling Daniels title shot is going into the void for a little while. As for team 3D, well, they are leaving anyway so...
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
4w-wrestling.com. Not seen it anywhere else yet (although I have not checked too many sites save for the regulars).
However, the Dudleys have supposedly didn't want to leave WWE to begin with but had a dispute with someone over their pay or such. Oh yes, speaking of TNA and the Dudleys, Spike Dudley (Brother Runt) was releated, as well as Jerry Lynn and some others. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
They were kinda on the outs before ONS 2005. However, the WWE let them main event ONS 2005 anyway to have a nostagalia feel along with Sandman and Dreamer. However, the dispute about their pay, along with something about them being disrespected resulted in them leaving for sure afterwards (instead of going back to Smackdown!),
As for Heyman, the problem is Vince stops many of the things Heyman comes up with...or decides to follow a particular storyline but with his own writers (effectively taking the angle from Heyman). N2D last December or whatever was proof of that as Heyman had some good ideas, only to (supposedly) have them nixed by Vince. The end result was what you saw, including the PPV ending a half an hour early. Ultimately, my thoughts would be to have a semi-shoot thing going on within the WWE. What I would love to see is Bischoff come back along with Heyman, taking Smackdown! for WCW and ECW for...well ECW respectively. Then, each side will take shots at Vince, in a semi-shoot, namely, Vince will have a general idea of what is going on, and a well-detailed idea for anything super significant (i.e. world title changes), but will be 'surprised' by what they say, and what they do. Of course, that will never happen, but it would be cool to see a three way battle between WWE, WCW and ECW, but in such a way that it actually almost seems like a battle (for instance, each side competing against the other for ratings). Oh, and each side would have their version of a world champion and a secondary title (IC, US, and TV), but the CW, Women's and Tag titles would be inter-brand titles, and whomever has the particular title must defend it against challenges from other in ALL brands. I really liked it when they did that with the world title in the beginning because it REALLY established the world champ as THE champion. Most amazing jew boots |
The plan as of now is to have Orton take the title from Cena. Cena is supposedly going off to movie land for a while so it's a good time to take the title off him. Also, Orton has had good luck at SS (won the title in 04, beat Taker in 05).
After Orton wins the title, Trips will feud with him at Survivor Series for the belt. Probably then HBK will turn on Trips, redoing the infamous Montreal SJ all over again. Happy ten year anniversary!!! This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Actually, I thought Trips messed up the same knee again.
I do forsee Simmons Vs Santillo. I question whether Orton will win the title. Usually, them face stands tall right before a big PPV where a title change will occur. However, Orton has punked Cena twice now. Dagget, you were from Fayetteville? So was I...although many, MANY (like twenty) years ago. Manny, each time a guy was lifted up in a DVD position, I kept waiting for an F-5/ I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Hm...
So Cena retained. Not too surprised although being the 20th Summerslam anniversary, I thought something more would happen. Khali retained and pissed off the crowd with the DQ. Morrison retained and pissed off the wrong with the third consectutive win. I can kinda see why though...if Punk wins it, then it will just be the same series of match-ups, only with Punk defending. We might just see that though as a pissed-off and perhaps soon-to-turn-heel Punk gets another title shot. Kendrick and London confuse one with the team who held onto the tag titles for almost a year. SPeaking of year-long reigns, I suppose we will soon see Cena's reign ending at the hands of Triple H...at SurSer 2007 with Michaels coming in to cost trips the match in the 'We miss you Bret' anniversary. Or maybe in a twist of irony, he'll cost Trips the match and allow a heel Cena to walk into Mania 24 with the strap. Oh, and for those wondering, the Orton~Cena angle is heating up, BUT Orton won't be walking out with the strap. I guess with the WWE in the news, they rather not have someone with the rep of Orton (think of how many times he's been suspended or been in hot water the last eighteen months) hold their strap. Rey looked bulked up a bit more. You'd think that the exact opposite would happen due to recent events with Benoit. I heard Hogan's son was in a bad car accident. I hope for a quick and full recovery for him and the driver. Undertaker is coming back to demolish Henry and then take back his title from Edge....I mean Khali. Speaking of Edge, any word on when he will return? And HBK? What about Lashley? And, because the poor guy has been forgotton despite his year long title reign, Gregory Helms? Umaga was set as a heel on some of the future house shows so the heel turn isn't THAT surprising, but THAT stupid. Could they really not find someone else to play the face role instead of Umaga saving it for Hardy? Nothing against Hardy, but give another wrestler a chance to shine as a face. An upset victory against Umaga at SS and then having Umaga beat him down the next night inthe match with Kennedy is one way to see if you can set a guy on the right path for a good career. Seeing Regal dance at SS, facial expression and all, was hilarious. And I'm not the one really to smile at jokes or such. I was speaking idiomatically. |
I seriously wouldn't be surprised to see another short-term heel turn by Michaels, starting at SurSer which results in a match at the Royal Rumble against Trips. That will give Trips some time away from Orton until after the Royal Rumble to begin his feud with Orton.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
OUch, that basically takes out all the major players in one swoop.
So... There goes ECW again. Before, they had good series of Johnny~Punk matches. If Johnny is suspended, will he still have a match to drop the title to Punk? Good thing Booker T was able to get that loss in against Triple H. I suppose there won't be any more rematches between them. Good thing Orton DIDN'T win the title, huh? Shame though as there goes the big rematch between him and Cena. I guess Cena WILL be holding onto that title for a while. And I guess the Triple H~Cena match will be happening sooner than later. Chavo surprised me but good that happened as we don't want another Guerrero tragedy. Edge and Helms are probably like "Oh well...". How ironic for Kennedy. FELIPE NO |
Perhaps, or maybe get someone from one of the other brands to come over. Oh yeah...Regal is out too and he just became the GM of Raw...
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
hrm, guess Hardy will be getting the IC strap. Good to see a guy who just got off suspension getting the strap from someone who just got on it.
I seriously wonder how they will do these title swaps. I mean, I could forsee John Morrison losing in a quick match for the title against Punk just to get him out of there, but Umaga? Most amazing jew boots |
Well, what I mean is, these guys are holding titles but are under suspension. Now, when RVD got in trouble a year or so back, the WWE wasn't under such a microscope that it is now so RVD could actually have two full matches to drop both the titles and go away for thirty days. Yet, now, with things as they are, the WWE probably wants to get those titles off as fast as possible with them having as little TV title as they can. I wouldn't be surprised if Hardy walks out on Raw with the IC title having beaten Umaga in a house show of all things. The ECW world title-no way, but that could be a quickie.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
AH, well...they could make some sort of stable or um, something. Oh yeah, Mike Bucci was released.
Most amazing jew boots |
THe ironic thing is if he was still a wrestler, he'd still have his job (just have a 30 day suspension).
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Nah, I was commenting on Simon Dean (AKA Mike Bucci).
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Given that Batista has gone through all the heels on Smackdown! and that they are obviously going with the "Can't get the job done so the face gets super frustrated over not regaining the title to the point he goes nuts and turns" angle, I forsee a Batista Vs Mysterio match in the future.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Doubtful. Actually, hard to believe it's been a year since the fake Kane storyline...
FELIPE NO |
Release #2 is Eugene. Dunno if this is related to what's going on or not, although I know he got suspended about a year and a half back. Remember when Eugene was red hot three years back? Heh, I thought with the WWE's version of Cletus and kin in the form of a tag team on Smackdown! that Eugene finally have some guys to team with. I do hope "Cletus I and II" are taking a good look at Eugene, the character he portrayed, how far it got him, and where he is now.
ANd oh yes... Spoiler:
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I think they had Hardy lose to Carlito on one of the most recent house shows so that idea might actually happen...well, minus the injury to Umaga (as he just turned heel). WWE is probably kicking themselves on the re-turn of Umaga as they could have gone with your idea and then have a face Umaga return fairly strong.
One worthy bit of discussion people were talking about is what if Cena's name showed up on a list down the road a bit. Given all the time, money, publicity, etc Cena has had, could you see how this would affect the WWE? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Cryme TIme has been as well? What the? I mean, I could understand the others, but these guys were actually popular at the moment with the crowd, had a program with the champs, and looked tobe a shoe in to win the titles. What DID they do (it had something to do at the previous night's house show but nothign specific is said).
A bit more... If Orton is, in fact, not being suspended, I can see morale hitting an all-time low. However, perhaps more likely is Orton will have a delayed suspension. I doubt they will put the title on him now, but nor will they take him off the roster until his feud with Cena is done. Oh, and I doubt even Trips can keep Orton on board with the way things are now. In some sad news, although i was not really that much of a fan of him, Hardcore Holly may be done. they botched his elbow surgery, and he is thinking of calling it a career. Now, it's not impossible for him to come back...Ultimo Dragon came back after a botched elbow surgery in WCW. Nonetheless... There's nowhere I can't reach.

According to reports, Cryme Tyme got fired because of disagreeing with Murdock and Cage. From what I am gathering, they may had tried to change the finish or such of their match (because there was a awkward ending in which Cryme Tyme got counted out even though they made it back into the ring).
Oh and... Spoiler:
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I felt Umaga's departure was done well. I mean, he got beat down with a sledge hammer.
I think the interesting thing about the whole McMahon angle is, at this point, the WWE themselves may not even know who it is. I also like this because everyone was saying Kennedy and so there would be no real surprise. Now, there (possibly) is. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
And, as I just mentioned, Holly may be out for good.
Perhaps though it will be Elijah Burke. McMahon was fond of him back in Jan. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Orton. Well, if Orton isn't done as well... I was speaking idiomatically. |
He was? I thought he was still undecided. Would make sense though as his book is about to come out...
