Initially, I was glad to hear it was getting a localization. But it kind of came out and immediately got lost in the shuffle of quality post-holiday RPG's, especially without being attached to a known franchise already. Once I'm done with messing around with Suikoden V and Wild Arms 4, I'll probably go ahead and rent this one, to see if I want to invest the time in it. Seeing JRPG's with parties of more than 3 people is always a highly positive sign for me.
And yeah...The negative reviews probably haven't helped its' cause. Outside of Megavolt's post, I haven't seen any kind of outside enthusiasm for the game. I liked the music for this one at least...Plenty of quality rock tracks, which is pretty rare for RPG's, outside of the Megaten-related games and Sakuraba's works. Also, wasn't it originally supposed to be paired up with Steambot Chronicles? Jam it back in, in the dark.
I'm taking over this town...
I'm screaming for vengenace... I'm shouting at the devil... I'm not dead and I'm not for sale... Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time... |
