Atlantic Spotted Dolphin - Mmm...Fluffy. Not much here, but its' kinda relaxing.
Cheer Up! - Always loved this track, have always loved Toshikazu Tanaka. Party time! Battle - More than once, I've been tempted to nominate this sucker from the massively underrated Bouken Tai SPC set (no OST was released unfortunately). It just builds and builds and builds and never lets up on the melody and wackiness. My front-runner, unless the remainder of these tracks pulls off something amazing. Peaceful Romancer - Hmm, it's okay. At no point did I feel it was the next great chiptune, but it's listenable. About par with the usual Touhou stuff. City - The good stuff. I could almost see myself tolerating a Power Rangers game if the music is this good. For some reason, so many composers have trouble coming up with quality tracks of this style, but this is definitely a good example of "old school" BGM at work. I could listen for hours to that delicious underlying bass accompaniment. I'm impressed. Wodan - Has massive potential, but meanders between "waiting for something good to happen" to "wall of sound" and is way too disjointed to enjoy. Ft. Eagle Forest - Forgettable. Wait...(relistens)...Yeah, forgettable. Arena - Boring loops + droning melody = fail. Nothing I'll ever go out of my way to listen to, but fitting for a militaristic game setting. SOTW isn't a militaristic game though. The point at the loop is pretty dynamic and cool though. Like Crash, I think there was a wide margin between the good and bad. Determining my top 3 is easy, but determining who gets how many is the hard part. So for the first time, here's my first 2-2-2 distribution. 2 pts - Cheer Up! 2 pts - Battle 2 pts - City Will nominate something later. Most amazing jew boots

Whew...I'm happy. I'm also sad, because like I said, I meant to nominate that at least 3 times in the past. And wow, I thought Cheer Up! was doing better than just 10 pts.
I'm not at all opposed to totally (and I mean, totally) unknown tracks from known series. Not overlooked tracks from known series, not sleeper hits from known series, but totally unknown ones, I have no problems with. There's nowhere I can't reach.
