Things like ampersands, umlauts, and even apostrophes can break quicktime. Though my best advice would be really to try to get rid of quicktime and then install Quicktime Alternative. I'm not sure how much help it would be though.
I wouldn't use quicktime for streaming anyway. After you have QTA installed, you could use a player such as VLC to stream/play the files. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
