DC & Saturn are both very near and dear to my hearts =( Both spell out extreme levels of nostalgia as well as gameplay that has yet to be rivalled.
Saturn: Radiant Silvergun NiGHTS Dragon Force 1 Dragon Force 2 Shining Force Books 1-3 (2 & 3 are in budding stages of translation. They tested it out on premium and it WORKS. They'll be translated for certain now) Panzer Dragoon Saga Riglord Saga 1 Riglord Saga 2 Guardian Heroes Alberty Odyssey Gaiden Baroke Burning Heroes Silhouette Mirage Policenauts (80% through English translation by US company and it was fucking DROPPED) MOAR 2 COME =d The DC had a number of classics. But the Saturn had TONS of games that really wow'd me. The DC's main poster childs of how it was so damn good lies in Shenmue 1, Shenmue 2 (Got PAL version & use boot disk), and Skies of Arcadia. There was a remake of Space Griffon VF-9 I never got to try that looked phenomenal on the graphics-scale. **sigh** Jam it back in, in the dark.
Hey, maybe you should try that thing Chie was talking about.

Katamari & Shadow of the Colossus are the only games post-Dreamcast that I'd deem as classics or incredibly original.
Suikoden V was the first PS2 RPG to really wow me, to be honest. I'm not getting pickier. Quality has just gone down the shitter since Sega did. There's nowhere I can't reach.
