Through resonance, it'll be possible to recharge an object without being plugged in! Cool beans, eh? I love how my background in Electromagnetics is helping me understand this... Kinda goes back to Tesla's old idea of global power. ((Edit: Oh snap. Article mentions it =d)) No hardware or tests yet, but there have been calculations and computer models that suggest that this is possible. Jam it back in, in the dark.

There isn't a negative side. It is based on Electromagnetics. Electromagentics are churning in anything electric that you touch. It's not like you'll be living beneath a monstrous old powerline. Unless you know of someone who got cancer from watching too much TV or standing under lightbulbs too much, I doubt this'll be harmful. There's nowhere I can't reach.
