For the woman, I wouldn't mind finishing it up. I try to use reference when I can, I know I fuck up the proportions sometimes. It really pains me.

For the woman, yes I did, otherwise everything else, no.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Here is a piece I did for my Advanced Photoshop class. This isn't the first time I colored in Photoshop, however it is the first I used more of a painting technique. I did a very loose sketch of the figure, scanned it and went to town. Took me around 20 hours I guess over the course of several days.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

It feel like the shading doesn't have enough variation, at least as far as I can see, the shading on the skin (of the vampire dude) doesn't feel dark enough, but you had spent 20 hours on this, which shown by the clean edges and the really nice chrome effect you have on the metal parts of his costume.

On the highlight, I think, at least on the parts of leather looking belt thingy, you should have choose the color and slowly gradate it until a tinted highlight, instead of the pale white you have now. Hmm, you really need to post more. We don't get a whole lot of traffic around here now-a-days.

Thank you for the critiques! My fellow class mates weren't any help, however, I wouldn't want to ask help from them. Shading seems to be a problem that I have. That's something I need to work on.

I guess the highlight might be a bit much, especially when I just now looked at the point of reference for the belt I used.

Here is a piece I painted for a defunt gaming site. This was probably my second or third painting at the time. Painting in general is something I really want to get into. I have some experience with oils, however only with tone, not with hues.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Also, if you are digital painting with a tablet, I am recommanding you use a method called light on dark (I think that's what is called?) to color the character, as in, start with the darker shading, sorta between the very highlight and dark shadows, and then paint increment of different shades all over. Hmm, what's a good example of this?
Yeah pretty much. Just black and white. Not monochromatic...uh...a grayscale I guess. I don't remember the terminology for black and white usage.

I read about using dark to light, but I sort of found that out later in the project, so it was too late for me to change it. It's something I'll do later on.

Thank you. Bah, I guess ART105 wasn't worth much. Or maybe I just didn't pay attention in there well enough.

Yep it was him. He seems like a nice enough guy. Yeah, anything default Photoshop did was the greatest thing in the world to him.

Something new that isn't a drawing or anything. It's a little animation.

This is Stan Bush - The Touch. I did about a minute of the song for an assignment requirement. I hope to expand upon it next semester.

Here are some older sketches I've done.

The first on is something I called Spartan. It's just a sketch I did of a spartan warrior. I was bored one day and just started doing it.

The next one is called Android Creep. Again I was bored and just let my pencil go where it wanted.

The final one is Diving Man. This was done as a practice in perspective and foreshortening.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Updated the first post with an animation I did back a couple of semesters for Maya animation. It was my first animation and the first time I rigged something.

Anyone know where I can get my Shockwave file hosted? Photobucket is being a bitch and I want show off my new Flash animation I recently did.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yeah the whole thing needs work. I'm pleased overall considering that it was my first animation with Maya. It's a little wonky, and I've decided that I really don't like automatic inbetweens. I feel I'm better at it now, which is why I'm going to do animations for a game project next semester.

Here is another animation that I've done, this time with Flash. This was done as a final project and I hand animated it all, except for some scenes that I could reuse. A little rough around the edges, however I like it.

Check it out here.

This guy is named Cyro Kylian. He's a character for a made up RPG that I've been working on and off since high school. He's been through a lot of changes and the game idea has gone through some changes as well. My dream is to one day create the game and hopefully make it into a six part series. Right now I'm just trying to nail down a style. I'm trying to go for the hyper detail of FFXII.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Yeah I was working on the detail as I went. Hell I was doing his costume as I went along. I really had no idea what do to for him. At least now I have some idea what I want to do. Certainly not a final concept.

I used a photo reference in an anatomy book that I have. Took me about 30-40 minutes to complete. I'm not too happy with the shading on the right thigh, but overall ok with it.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I did this in 20 minutes or so. It was just a burst of inspiration while listening to Al DiMeola. Wasn't meant to be realistic or anything, just something to capture the moment.

I used Alias Sketchbook Pro for this. It came with a Maya tutorial book that came with Maya. Hooray for free legit software!

I did this in about 30 minutes last night. Just felt like drawing, found an image and went at it. I'm overall pleased with it, however I think her left hand is a tad too big.
