I thought I heard it was gonna be a launch title but sadly, they announced today that it wasn't gonna make the launch. But it'll supposedly arrive in the six months window of the launch.

Miyamoto said he wasn't going to promise it at launch only to have to break the promise later. It could still be a launch title, it's just nothing it concrete.

It is common belive (oh, right, you meant belief) that the accessories do come for free is because they pretty much do. If you are paying the same price for a game and accessory that you are for just a game, then the accessory is free. If you want to buy the game without the accessory then Nintendo will lower their normal price, not to cover the price of the accessory, but to give people incentive to buy if they already have the accessory.

I don't think their has been a case where Nintendo will charge extra for an accessory that is required for a game.
